Volcanic cuisine of the Garrotxa
Since 1994, the Volcanic Cuisine group has brought together a total of fifteen restaurants from the Garrotxa area that stand out for their commitment to cooking with products cultivated, grown and produced using traditional methods within the Garrotxa area. The dishes they create have a particularity of their very own which comes from the area’s volcanic soil and its regional cuisine, based on recipes which are traditional, yet also creative and daring.

The Volcanic Cuisine Association organises regular fairs and food festivals such as the Garrotxa Gastronomic Show in Olot, and is in favour of the promotion of sustainable tourism which focuses on the values of the land. In this respect, Pirinexus is the ideal option for discovering this particular variety of cuisine!

The Gastronomic Days for Cooking with Spring Mushrooms in Olot, La Vall d’en Bas, Les Preses and La Vall de Bianya take place in April and May.
